Carolyn B. Tolman

January 29, 1961 - July 13, 2026

Carolyn B. Tolman was part of TVP from the very beginning. When Warren and our founding team launched The Valedictorian Project in 2020, Carolyn was among the first to step forward as a mentor - bringing warmth, dedication, and genuine care for our scholars from day one.

Working as a nurse practitioner for 35 years at Massachusetts General Hospital, she knew firsthand the power of encouragement and positivity, showing up for people during life's most critical moments. TVP is proud to have a number of nurses and healthcare professionals in our community, and we know Carolyn would have loved knowing she was helping shape the next generation of caregivers.

Given Carolyn's belief in the transformative power of mentorship and education, the family respectfully requests that, rather than flowers, donations be made in her honor to The Valedictorian Project Carolyn B. Tolman Memorial Endowment, which will be used to support first-generation, low-income students as they persist through college and launch meaningful careers.
